MELON

is an adorable, adult leopard gecko. Melon is looking for a home that can provide him with a 40-gallon horizontal (36x18x18 inch) enclosure or larger. Larger is even better as this guy is a pretty big gecko! He will need a home who can provide him with linear UVB as well as several ledges or opportunities for basking. Since he is male, his vent will need to be monitored closely for debris. Due to his past, his eyes also need to be monitored as well. He isn't the best hunter either. He needs his insects to be dusted with Zoo Med's calcium without D3 every feeing. Every 4th feeding, he will need dusted with Zoo Med's Reptivite containing D3 instead. He enjoys having things to explore in his enclosure, so he will need lots of foliage and enrichment! He is crepuscular, so he is mostly awake at dawn and dusk. We do not expect him to grow much more, if at all.
